CLASS CHANGES and info
Dear Friends, the Providence All That Matters studio has decided to close its doors. The studio’s last day is September 15th.
I am contemplating my options for where and when I’ll be teaching. As I make decisions, I will definitely post here. Also, please sign up for my newsletter and I’ll send you an email when my plans get clearer.
I have loved working at this studio and am so grateful for the community we have nurtured and cultivated. My aim is to continue to support our incredible yoga community as we go forward. Thank you for your practice and your presence in my life. May our paths continue to wind together.
About Full Radiance classes
Full Radiance Yoga classes are an offering of Anusara Yoga which consists of a full spectrum of asana (poses), including standing poses, arm balances, inversions, backbends, and hip openers, and invite an experience of the luminous quality of our energy.
Classes are open to all levels of students. The beginner will be supported by articulate and clear directions and a mindful pace, while the more advanced student will benefit from the refined instructions aimed to deepen awareness, skillful actions, and expression of the inner and outer pose. Classes offer thoughtful and intentional sequencing as well as various modifications for each level of practitioner.
Full Radiance Yoga respects the sacred architecture of the human form including honoring the four curves of the spine. The practice addresses not simply weakness, instability, or imbalance at the superficial levels of the musculature, but helps the practitioner recover and embody their innate birthright of strength, flexibility, balance, and freedom by understanding how each of the individual parts affect the entirety of the body/mind/spirit matrix.
Essential to each Radiance Class is a framework of the yoga philosophy and perspective. Sara transmits an experience and understanding of the interdependence and interconnectedness between spirit and body by articulating the ways the body’s actions and movements correlate with the ancient teachings of yoga. To that aim, each class is supported by sacred yoga texts, yoga philosophy, Ayurvedic wisdom, or other teaching.
