Diwali Celebration & Creation

Diwali, or DIpāvali, is one of the biggest celebrations of the year in Hinduism. It is the festival of light, celebrating and honoring the great myths and stories of the victory of light and wisdom over ignorance and evil. It is a time of storytelling, coming together, creativity, and peace. Join Rani for an afternoon of learning, creating, and joy. You’ll learn about the diya-s, clay lamps, and make one to take home! And you’ll collaborate in making a traditional and resplendent flower kolam / rangoli, mandalic design. We’ll have some flowers available, and feel free to bring some to add as well (not required tho!) Perfect for adults and children alike.

If you are bringing more than one person, feel free to buy one workshop pass for your whole household. And then please email us to let us know how many are coming if it’s more than just you.

Class runs if there are more than 5 people joining by midday Monday. Thank you for signing up early!
