Intro to Yoga Series


A four-week class series to introduce the beginning foundations of the practice of yoga. This is a perfect way for the beginning student to feel comfortable and confident in exploring the classes and practice of yoga.

In this series, you’ll explore the following and much more:

  • the aim and purpose of yoga and yoga asana (poses)

  • various breathing practices used in yoga class

  • some basic foundational poses and how to move in and out of them safely

  • ways to use props like blankets and blocks to facilitate greater stability and freedom

  • basic yoga philosophy and practices

We invite you join us and explore this practice of awareness, rejuvenation, and well-being. All bodies and abilities are welcome.

Included in the course is 1 week of Free Yoga after the course is finished.

Thurdays, 7-8pm: April 11th, April 18th, April 25th, May 2nd
